Process
Urban Metals has designed its recycling process that strictly
follows the guidelines mandated by the Central Pollution Control Board.
Our current processing line separates materials from E-waste via mechanical separation technique.
It is capable of processing both large E-waste items as well as scrap Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
As a preliminary process, scrap material passes through a manual dismantling flat conveyor table where
hazardous items and other contaminants are removed. Hazardous material is carefully packed in special
containers and sent to respective authorities for its safe disposal. After passing through the
manual dismantling station the material is fed into the mechanical separation line where it undergoes shredding,
milling, air separation and a few other mechanical operations.
